Liverpool host Everton at Anfield this Wednesday but the Toffees will be visiting Anfield again for the third round of the FA cup.
The third round fixtures are only a month away until they are played and have got some great fixtures for Merseyside.
Liverpool fans will certainly be looking forward to both of the fixtures with the current state of Everton and the blue’s fans certainly won’t be.
One of the big questions for this FA cup tie is that will Marco Silva still be managing the Everton side in January?
Luckily enough for him (Or unlucky) he gets a chance to prove his worth for the Merseyside derby just two days after the FA Cup draw.
The board at Everton football club will not look to risk getting knocked out of the cup by sacking the Portuguese manager if he performs on Wednesday night.
Here is a highlight video (credit of BT sport) of when the two sides met last time in the FA Cup.
Tranmere Rovers are set for an away day at Vicarage Road which is a tough test for the league one side.
Rovers last visited Watford in a league one fixture which ended in a draw where both sides only managed to find the net once.
Since then, the two sides have had very different story’s.
One side has managed to climb all the way to the top division and the other has gone down to National league then back up.
It is safe to say that Tranmere will have to put up a good fight to beat the premier league side in January.
