Southport will be looking to bounce back from their 1-0 loss to Spennymoor in the Vanarama National League North. The Sandgrounders play host to Kings Lynn Town.
The defeat to Spennymoor was Southport’s first defeat in over a month. Kings Lynn currently find themselves second in the league, knowing a win and results going their way could put them top of the table.
Southport will be hoping to recover their previous form, knowing a win can see them return to fourth ahead of Spennymoor and level on points with third placed Chester.
Kings Lynn have conceded 28 goals so far, the most of anyone in the top half of the table. However, they have scored the most of anyone in the league scoring 40 times.
The game promises to be a high scoring affair with Southport hoping to be able to exploit Kings Lynn’s fragile defence whilst trying to stop the prolific goalscorers from moving top of the table.
