Tranmere’s game with Fleetwood Town has been postponed due to weather conditions.
The game was set to take place at Prenton Park at 3pm tomorrow as the Wirral side looked to build on from Tuesday’s night win against Shrewsbury.
In a statement, Rovers confirmed the postponement, saying:
“There has been consistent heavy rain in the local area since last Sunday, and following a pitch inspection this afternoon, the referee has deemed the surface unplayable due to the adverse weather conditions.”
Tickets bought will remain valid for the rearranged match and refunds are available at the club store or by email on [email protected].
Fleetwood won the reverse fixture 2-1 back in November.
Rovers face a trip to Accrington Stanley next Saturday March 7th in a vital bid for safety.
