Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp said it is “not easy” to visit Molineux and hailed Wolves as a “real football side, with a real football playing idea”.
Klopp told the media today he was full of admiration for Bruno Lage’s team who they face tomorrow (December 4).
The Reds come off the back of an impressive Merseyside derby win at Goodison, putting 4 past their rivals.
Mo Salah was at the heart of the action, grabbing a brace.
But it will be tough for Liverpool to net four against Wolves.
The home side have not conceded a goal in three games since Crystal Palace away, where they lost 2-0.
Scoring has however been a problem, as Wolves have now not scored in two games, both fixtures ending 0-0.
Klopp expressed his admiration for the way Wolves defend, and how important it is Liverpool are creative when going forward.
“It is a good team, and it is really difficult to play.
“They are famous now for not conceding a lot as well, and not even conceding a lot of shots on goal.
“We have to be creative for sure.”
Klopp recognised how important this game is in chasing the league, and how the standard of the Premier League at the moment is very high.
“It is a very very good, highest quality league.
“It is unbelievable how good you have to be to win a single football game in this league.
“You have to be up there, it means we have to chase everybody, each player of each team we chase from all directions, and make sure we are one goal better in all of the games.”
Liverpool’s injury list is growing, and Klopp will most likely be forced into changes.
Joe Gomez and Naby Keita have returned to training, but Klopp said “they did not take part in the full session”.
Midfielder Thiago will hope to retain his place after scoring two in his last three performances, with a fine display in the derby midweek.
Liverpool against Wolves is a 3pm kick off on Saturday December 4.
