With temperatures dropping and a ‘Beast from the East’ set to hit the UK this month, the challenges for people up and down the country are intensifying by the day, with energy bills hitting an all-time high.
At the heart of Liverpool, Bootle FC are welcoming people to their clubhouse at the Berry Street Garage Stadium on Vesty Road, where they are offering their support for those who need it most this winter.
The community hub is open for everyone on weekdays from 2pm-10pm where people can relax, watch TV and keep warm without worrying about putting their heating on.
