Sunday saw Liverpool claim the Premier League title following a 5-1 thrashing over Tottenham Hotspur in Arne Slot’s first season at the club.

The Reds’ boss saw his side go 1-0 down only to find an equaliser 4 minutes later; from there, the rest is history.

Liverpool’s last title came in the 2019/20 season under Jurgen Klopp but was lifted behind closed doors due to COVID restrictions.

However, all of that is in the past now after Arne Slot and his side have brought the Premier League trophy back to Liverpool.

The red mist could be seen city-wide as fans gathered outside of Anfield to celebrate their side claiming their second Premier League title in five years.

Deep within the crowd was RedMenTV’s founder, Chris Pajack, who spoke to us about what the league title meant to him.

“It’s easy to say it means everything, but it really does because, for me, I’m 42 years old, I was with my kids yesterday morning before we won it and I was trying to tell them that I’ve waited 35 years; I was seven the last time Liverpool won the title in front of fans.

“For me, it was all of those years building up to it that we’ve waited to do it because 19/20 was incredible for its own thing but COVID ruined the celebration so the community side of things is what it was about.

“I saw so many people that I’ve going the game with for years, just giving them a big hug, we were all hugging and everyone was like ‘we’ve finally done it, we’re here, we’re enjoying it’.

“I can forget about everything that’s happened, it’s only forwards from now on, I’ve finally seen my team win the Premier League, I finally got to celebrate it, I finally saw the scenes of what a Liverpool title, winning the Premier League, looks like in real life, not that COVID nonsense.

“So to see probably over 100,000 people all feeling the same, all getting joy in the same way, it’s meant more to me than anything else I can remember.

“Ultimately, it didn’t matter what the team did on the pitch or how they’ve won it, it’s the fact that they did win it and Arne Slot’s Liverpool side have given me my greatest memory as a Liverpool fan. That’s what it means and that’s what I’ll remember.”

Liverpool Football Club will parade the Premier League trophy around the city on the 26th of May where around a million fans will come to celebrate together.
