FA Cup First Round Draw
The draw for the First Round of the 150th Emirates FA Cup has been made with the chance of two Merseyside teams competing at this stage of the competition.
Tranmere Rovers
Tranmere Rovers will travel to The People’s Pension Stadium to face fellow Football League Two side, Crawley Town.
Mickey Mellon’s side will fancy their chances as they currently sit 4th in the league table while Crawley are placed 12th.
The two sides met just two weeks ago at Prenton Park with Rovers coming out on top with a 2-1 victory.
Marine
Eighth tier side Marine FC will travel to Harrogate Town, but only if they beat Wrexham in the Fourth Round Qualifying Replay, after they played out a 1-1 draw at the Marine Travel Arena on Saturday.
The Mariners thought they had booked their place in the First Round after Owen Watkinson’s header in the 78th minute, but for the last kick of the match, was Jordan Davies’ free kick that flew into the top corner and resulted in a Replay tomorrow night (Tuesday 18th October).
Ties for the First Round will be played between Friday 5th to Monday 8th November.
