Liverpool secured automatic qualification to the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League with a 6-0 win against Qarabag FK at Anfield.
Alexis Mac Allister scored twice, and Florian Wirtz, Mohamed Salah, Hugo Ekitike, and Federico Chiesa also scored for Liverpool.
Ryan Gravenberch started at centre back for the Reds, with Ekitike and Andrew Robertson back in the starting XI.
Qarabag FK made 11 changes from their game on Saturday.
It was an unlucky start for Jeremie Frimpong, who looked to have pulled something in the third minute and was replaced by Wataru Endo.
Qarabag had a decent chance in the ninth minute after Jonathan Montiel found Camilo Duran, but his tame effort was comfortable for Alisson Becker.
Ekitike’s curling effort from the left in the 12th minute nearly gave Liverpool the lead, but it was just wide of the target.
Liverpool took the lead in the 15th minute after a corner was flicked to Virgil van Dijk at the back post.
The skipper failed to make clean contact, but Mac Allister converted with a header from close range.
Ekitike set up Wirtz to double Liverpool’s lead in the 21st minute. The German’s strike from outside the box found the bottom corner.
Liverpool dominated the remainder of the half, and Cody Gakpo’s flicked header in the 44th minute forced a good save from Mateusz Kochalski.
Dominik Szoboszlai laid the ball off for Salah in the 50th minute, and the Egyptian’s stunning strike found the top corner to make it 3-0.
Ekitike scored the fourth in the 57th minute after he pounced on a mistake by Bahlul Mustafazade and beat Kevin Medina to find himself one-on-one.
Mac Allister scored his second in the 61st minute after a failed clearance fell kindly to him, and he rounded Kochalski to slot home.
Substitute Chiesa scored the sixth in the 90th minute after taking advantage of van Dijk’s through ball.
The win means Liverpool finished third in the League Phase to secure qualification to the next round.
