Tommy Fleetwood has become a new brand ambassador for TAG Heuer, where he will represent the golf edition.

Whilst on the PGA and European tour, Fleetwood will wear the luxury smartwatch and be the face of the brand.

Fleetwood will provide his knowledge and experience of golf to the headquarters in Paris as they look to develop the watch/app in order to enhance the game for players.

What is TAG Heuer?

TAG Heuer is a Swiss luxury watch brand that designs and manufactures watches and other accessories.

What is the TAG Heuer Golf Edition?

Launched in 2019, the TAG Heuer Golf app has a usage of over 200,000 users which helps golfers with their golfing.

Inside the app are notable features including, 3D mapping, hazard and shot tracking, along with scorecards and much more.

The app was created to help players at any level who want to raise their game.

Local golfer at Aintree Golf Centre, Jack McCarthy, uses the app and says it has helped him with his overall game.

“I started using the app towards the back end of 2019 and it is a very good app to use and help develop your skills.

“I am able to see where my balls are going without the need of frantically rushing around the rough, looking for a lost ball.”

The 21-year-old also stated on the significance of a Merseyside based golfer being the ambassador of the watch.

“Having Tommy on the front is huge for golf in Liverpool, during these uncertain and weird times.

“It will hopefully drive more young players to the sport and help increase numbers.”

TAG Heuer’s CEO Frédéric Arnault has explained his excitement about the new partnership with Fleetwood.
