MMA sensation Shem Rock (10-1-1) gears up to face Jaroslav Pokorny (16-11) at OKTAGON 58 on the 8th June in Prague.

The fight follows a heated altercation at OKTAGON 48, where Rock kicked Pokorny which caused the Czech MMA fighter to withdraw from their previous scheduled bout.

Rock, wrongfully jailed for six months, sees this bout as a chance to settle a dispute against police officer Pokorny.

Liverpool’s Rock was accused of burglary leading him to flee to Asia for 10 years and master Mixed Martial Arts.

Shem Rock is a submission specialist and has won his last three fights via the rear naked choke in the first round.

The Scouse fighter initially learned Jiu Jitsu and represented Britain in the World Championships abroad hence his impressive grappling ability.

Rock now trains at Liverpool’s Next Generation Gym alongside UFC fighters Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann.

Pokorny has lost five of his last seven MMA bouts and has won only once by stoppage since 2017.

However, his opponent Rock blends precision striking with grappling expertise, keeping opponents guessing at every turn.

30 Year old Rock is entering the prime years of his career and another victory in the first round by submission is likely.

OKTAGON 58, with a sold-out crowd of 27,000, promises to be the promotion’s biggest event yet.

The clash between Rock and Pokorny is anticipated to be an unforgettable night of action-packed MMA in Prague.
