Liverpool Handball Club face NEM Hawks this weekend in a head to head battle for first place in the Northern Handball Premier League.

League toppers NEM Hawks are the only premier league team to have defeated LHC this season.

LHC are only a point behind the first placed team and are feeling the pressure to secure all three points here.

Last week, LHC faced NEM Hawks in the England Handball National Women’s Cup, securing a place in the quarter finals with their first victory against the Hawks.

LHC Line player, Daniella Michaela said: “We’re quite confident after last week’s result, they’re our toughest opponents, but we know our own game”.

Liverpool Handball Club under Andrew Fleming continue to plan for a tough game ahead.

They will be carrying the confidence and momentum from previous wins in hopes of securing the victory.

“It’s clear that when we play our game, we play it well.

“Our true test is when we hopefully make it to the final four, to bring home the trophy for Merseyside”.

Liverpool Handball Club are continuing to be the forefront of Handball within the North, and more significantly within the UK.
