Liverpool manager Arne Slot has been given a two-match touchline ban, following his red card at the end of the Merseyside derby on February 12.
Slot had an altercation with the referee following the final whistle.
The ban will begin tonight for the game against Newcastle United, he will also miss the game against Southampton on 8th March.
He has also been given a £70,000 fine, according to Paul Joyce (The Times).
Assistant Sipke Hulshoff has been banned for two games, leaving ex-Everton defender, John Heitinga, to lead the team in Slot and Hulshoff’s absence.
Both Everton and Liverpool have been fined £65,000 and £50,000 respectively for failing to control players.
