Premier League Darts returns to Liverpool this spring, with the M&S Bank Arena hosting a night of the competition St Helens-trained Luke Littler has his eyes on.
Luke Humphries’ title is on the line and he will defend it in an eight-player field which combines experience and emerging talent.
Gian van Veen will make his Premier League debut, while Michael van Gerwen, a seven-time champion, secured the final automatic qualification place via the PDC Order of Merit.
Jonny Clayton, Gerwyn Price, Josh Rock and Stephen Bunting complete the line-up as wildcard selections.
Humphries comes into the new season as reigning champion after defeating Littler in last year’s final. But attention will once again centre on Littler, who enters the competition fresh from claiming his second World Championship title earlier this month and is widely tipped as one of the favourites for the crown.

Their developing rivalry has become one of darts’ standout narratives and is likely to dominate when the Premier League arrives on Merseyside, with Liverpool crowds known for creating a lively and passionate atmosphere.
PDC chief executive Matt Porter said: “There’s a fresh new look to this year’s line-up, which I’m sure will entertain our incredible crowds across the UK and Europe.
“Following on from an historic World Championship, we’re determined to build on this momentum in 2026, and we’re particularly looking forward to taking the BetMGM Premier League to Belgium for the first time.”
Liverpool will stage Night 12 on Thursday April 23, as the tournament reaches a crucial stage in the league phase. The city once again features prominently on the schedule, underlining its status as one of the Premier League’s key stops on the UK circuit.
The season begins in Newcastle on February 5 and concludes at London’s O2 Arena on May 28, with weekly mini tournaments determining league standings. The top four after Night 16 progress to the play offs.
For fans from Liverpool, April’s visit promises a showcase of elite darts at one of the city’s premier indoor venues, with major titles and significant prize money on the line.
