On a sunny day in St Helen’s, Liverpool stamped their authority on their opponents from the get-go as they scored tries through Jake Dickinson (5) , Dave Cuncliffe (2), Connor Thompson (2), George Gates (2), Matty Johnson, and John Romano.

Liverpool Collegiate slumped to five league defeats in a row as they were beaten 31-7 by Widnes in the ADM Premier Division. Collegiate, hosting the game at Liverpool Cricket Club, gave their title-chasing opponents Widnes a competitive match all game but were blown away by a flurry of tries in each half.

Widnes Vikings are now top of the rugby league Championship after a storming 68-18 victory over Workington Town at the DCBL Stadium. The victory was secured after a rampant second-half performance, which saw Simon Finnigan's side score 38 unanswered points.
