Great Britain topped Group E with convincing wins over Netherlands and Kazakhstan, to qualify themselves to the quarter-finals this Friday.

Britain’s no.1 ranked player, Daniel Evans is still searching for his first win in the competition, but Andy Murray, Jamie Murray, and Neal Skupski all delivered important victories for the country.

Yesterday, Great Britain’s Davis Cup captain decided to sit Andy Murray out, but Kyle Edmund delivered. Jamie Murray and Neal Skupski then confirmed Great Britain’s qualification.

Britain will play today against Germany in Madrid’s Caja Magica in hopes of guaranteeing themselves a spot in the semi-finals.

The other quarter-finals are Serbia vs Russia, Australia vs Canada, and Argentina vs Spain.
