Tranmere’s FA cup journey continues tomorrow night, as they face the lowest ranked side Chichester City at Prenton Park.

Micky Mellon’s men will be looking for a place in the third-round for the second consecutive season in front of the BT Sport cameras.

They are set to take on Chichester City who have made it to the second round of the FA cup for the first time in their clubs history.

The visitors compete in the Isthmian League South East Division, which is the eighth level of English football.

Managed by Miles Rutherford, the Sussex-based club have already played seven games to reach this stage, having began their cup campaign in August’s preliminary rounds which saw them earn a bye into the second-round.

Despite Rovers’ inconsistent league form, they are still strong favourites to progress into the third round of the cup.

Rovers came back from a goal down and a red card to defeat current League one leaders Wycombe Wanderers in the last round of the FA cup.

Liam Ridehalgh and Neil Danns could both make a return following some recent injuries, though Mark Ellis, Evan Gumbs, Ishmael Miller, Ollie Banks and Jordan Ponticelli will all be sidelined.

Kane Wilson is also suspended for the clash following his red card at Wycombe in the last round.

The game kicks off 3:00pm at Prenton Park tomorrow night.
