Ex-Liverpool striker Peter Crouch is set the make his LFC legends debut against Barcelona this month.

Crouch made 132 appearances for the Reds scoring 40 goals during his three years on Merseyside. One of his memorable moments was the perfect hat trick he score against Arsenal in a 4-1 win, meaning he scored with his left-foot, right-foot and head. He also featured in the 2007 Champions League final against AC Milan and he ended that season the clubs top scorer.

The game against Barcelona is a sell-out charity fixture and will see a whole host of former Reds stars take to the pitch. Familiar names include Jamie Carragher, Sami Hyypia, Daniel Agger, Fabio Aurelio, Glen Johnson, Jose Enrique, Jason McAteer and Phil Babb amongst others.

Sir Kenny Dalglish and Ian Rush will take charge of the side as Liverpool legends will be aiming to maintain their unbeaten run at Anfield. The Barcelona side features some of the most famous names in football history including Edgar Davids and Patrick Kluivert.

The game will be on Saturday 28th March
