Everyone loves an underdog story don’t they!

Tranmere are hoping to be that story as they prepare for their Papa John’s trophy quarter final against high flying Peterborough at Prenton Park tomorrow night.

Rovers are the last remaining League Two side left in the competition and will be looking to cause a shock upset.

The team are flying high after a run which has seen them unbeaten in their last six matches including four straight wins, which has enabled them to climb into the play-off places.

Peterborough are performing well in League One this season, but are coming into the match on the back of a 2-0 defeat against Shrewsbury on Saturday, form Tranmere will hope to exploit when facing their opposition.

Kick off is at 7pm, with the tie having to be decided on the night – penalties will ensue if the score is level.
