Tranmere travel to Brunton Park on Tuesday as they hope to sustain their place in the league two playoffs against Carlisle.

Keith hills side sit 6th in league two with Carlisle chasing in 9th place. However, due to the pandemic, games have been switched around all season and Carlisle have 3 games in hand on the Merseyside club.

Chris Beech’s men will believe they have what it takes to push into the playoffs even though not managing to grab three points in the month of February, losing to Harrogate town and Forrest green but grabbing a point against Salford in their last game.

The rovers have also struggled their past couple of games, minus the Papa John’s trophy success, losing to Stevenage and drawing to Oldham in their last game at the weekend.

However, before then the boys from Liverpool haven’t lost since boxing day in the league and hope to reignite this form going forward towards the end of the season.

Keiron Morris gave his thoughts on there last game and was looking onto their next opportunity for three points at Carlisle.

‘“We’ve been on a good run as of late and we won on Tuesday night and it’s disappointing we couldn’t win the match. we will be ready to go again on Tuesday night.”

The last time the two teams met was in November where a goal from Corey Blackett-Taylor sealed the victory for Keith Hills first game in charge with the rovers hoping they can replicate this again and seal a double over there north-west counterparts.
