Overview

Everton travel to Stamford Bridge tonight knowing victory will push them into the Champions League qualifying places.

The Blues currently sit one point behind Chelsea, with a game in hand on their rivals.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side head into the contest having won three successive games, keeping a clean sheet in each fixture.

The Italian will be keen to improve on the clubs performance at the Bridge last season, where they were comfortably beaten 4-0.

Chelsea will represent a stern test, however. The West London side remain unbeaten since Tuchel took charge at the club, and have recorded impressive victories over Atletico Madrid and Liverpool in that time.

They have conceded just two goals in ten games during his tenure so far.

Team News

Everton playmaker James Rodriguez remains a doubt for the tie. The Colombian continues to have issues with an ongoing calf problem and is unlikely to be available for selection.

Midfielder Tom Davies and club captain Seamus Coleman will be assessed having missed the two previous fixtures.

Centre back Yerry Mina and Fabian delph are unavailable for the tie.

Chelsea meanwhile have no fresh injury concerns heading into the game.

Thiago Silva who has been absent for a month with a thigh issue could be fit to return for the home side.

Where can I watch it?

The game kicks off at 6pm and is available to watch on BT Sport.
