Sadio Mane scored his 100th Premier League goal against Watford.

So we have looked back at his most memorable strikes, and here is our top 5 Mane goals:

Arsenal (16-17)

His debut for Liverpool, following his £34 million move from Southampton, the Senegalese got himself among the goals immediately in a 4-3 win.

He cut in from the right-hand side leaving Nacho Monreal in the dust to curl the ball into the top left corner for a sublime finish. Already the Liverpool fans knew they had an exciting player on their hands.

Watford (17-18)

The first game of the 17-18 season and Liverpool’s first goal of the season. Mane played a pass to Alberto Moreno, who passed it back to him and played a one, two with Emre Can for a calm finish into the top right corner. The quick passing and fluid movement off the ball makes this a true classic. As they say: ‘liquid football’. The game did finish 3-3, but this doesn’t take away from a nice goal.

 Watford (18-19)

Another against Watford and arguably better. A lovely, floated ball in behind by Trent Alexander-Arnold and a well-timed darting run between the Watford centre-halves put Mane in one on one with Ben Foster. The finish was unreal as a wayward touch took the ball behind Mane who proceeded to nonchalantly backheel the ball past Foster and the onlooking Watford defenders. A true goal for the ages.

Southampton (18-19)

Against his former side in arguably his best season in a Liverpool shirt, the Senegalese man showed his finishing prowess with a powerful effort from just inside the box. He picked the ball up on the left-hand edge of the penalty area and ran. He found a gap and smashed the ball top right, to animated celebrations from Andy Robertson. Virgil Van Dijk seemed to enjoy the finish too, his arms held wide in rapture of the goal he just witnessed.

Everton (19-20)

A Merseyside derby goal by itself is special, in this fashion it makes it even better from a red perspective though. Van Dijk headed the ball down to Alexander-Arnold who played a short ball to Mane, who then left Iwobi scuttling behind him with a cheeky ball round him. Trent then ran the ball up the field, played a quick pass to Mane in the box who finished it with a first-time effort. Proper end to end football, starting with the centre-back and finishing with the forward.

Honourable mention has to go to Mane’s most recent goal in the League, the pass was probably better than the finish, but it isn’t everyday you score 100 goals in Europe’s top league.
