“I’m a bit frustrated if I’m honest,” said Liverpool manager Matt Beard.

“It was like a training game and I felt we were sloppy tonight but I’m glad we scored the goals from set pieces as we’ve been working on that.”

“Unbelievable, they’re undefendable when she gets that pace on them”, he added, on Kearns set pieces.

“She’s Liverpool through and through, a future Liverpool captain for sure.”

Kearns, after becoming Liverpool’s youngest captain, said: “It’s a proud moment, I’ve wanted to be Liverpool captain since I was a kid.”
