UFC fighter Darren Till has posted images of himself after a training session with once arch rival Marvin Vettori.

Till and Vettori were on a collision course to face one another last year before the Liverpool fighter pulled out of the bout due to injury. Fast forward to now, and the two are training together in Tiger Muay Thai in Thailand.

Till versus Vettori

The two middleweights were originally set to be the main event at UFC Vegas 23 in April 2021. Till regularly enjoys poking fun at his confirmed and potential opponents on social media and regularly called Vettori an ‘Ork’ posting images of the Lord of The Rings character’s heads on his body. This got a rise out of the Italian fighter and set up a bitter rivalry.

Till announced the week before the fight that he had broken his collarbone ruling him out of the bout. The UFC found a late replacement in Kevin Holland for the main event but the animosity between Till and Vettori did not die there.

Vettori went on to call Till’s injury suspicious, hinting the Scouser was scared to fight him. Till fired back at Vettori calling him an ‘utter moron’.

The two never seemed to make amends until now.

Till in Thailand

The Liverpool-born fighter has not fought since his last bout in September 2021 and since then has been around the world in preparation for his next bout.

The former title challenger has been in Thailand in recent weeks training with the likes of PFL fighter Brendan Loughnane and UFC contender Rafael Fiziev. Vettori arrived in Thailand this week and trained in places such as AKA Thailand and now Tiger Muay Thai. The two old enemies training together will most likely shock the MMA community as there was no sign of friendship between Till and Vettori.

Till’s next bout

The world-class striker will be competing next month at UFC 282 along with fellow Scouser Paddy Pimblett. Till faces south African Dricuss Du Plessis as he searches for his first win since 2019.

Victory over Du Plessis would mean Till would be looking for an opponent in the top 10 middleweights. Vettori sits at 4th in the rankings meaning a bout between the two may still be possible.
