Round four of the Gallagher Premiership gets under way on Friday night with Sale Sharks taking on Gloucester at the AJ Bell Stadium.
Both sides are looking to bounce back from big defeats last weekend. The Sharks were dismantled 43-0 down in Exeter while the Cherry and Whites were held to just three points as Saracens got the better of them down at Kingsholm winning 3-24.
Despite the losses both teams sit within the top six and a win for either side would propel them into first for the evening. The Sharks have won their last eight home games at the Salford Stadium. Gloucester will be searching for their first win here since 2019.
Sale are bolstered by the return of World Cup stars with hooker Agustin Creevy making his Sale debut. The former London Irish man who joined in the summer has missed the start of the season due his commitments with Argentina who were beaten in the World Cup third-place play of by England.
Sale also have two England internationals that won a week ago with fly half George Ford and prop Bevan Rodd returning to start. Ben Curry also returns after a five month lay-off through injury. Sale are still without Tom Curry and Manu Tuilagi.
For Gloucester, prop Val Rapava-Ruskin retuns and Albert Tuisue keeps his place after a brilliant World Cup with Fiji.
Mark Atkinson returns to the midfield for the first time in over a year after a horrible knee injury where he will be partnered by captain Chris Harris.
