St. Helens will face York Valkyrie in the Betfred Challenge Cup semi-final on Saturday, May 18th, at Doncaster’s Eco-Power Stadium.

Despite losing three of their last four encounters between the sides, Matty Smith’s side will look to book their place into the final with a victory over the reigning Betfred Women’s Super League Champions.

St. Helens are the most successful side in the competition, having won the Challenge Cup on seven occasions, including each of the last three years.

Both teams cemented their place in the semi-final with impressive quarter-final performances recently.

The Saints dominated on their home turf with a 74-0 win over the Huddersfield Giants.

And York Valkyrie defeated Featherstone Rovers 70-0 in their quarter-final clash.

A win for St. Helens would mean returning to Wembley Stadium to face off against either Wigan Warriors or Leeds Rhinos, whose semi-final encounter will occur on the following day (May 19).

The Saints travel to York this Sunday (April 21), where the two sides meet in their opening fixture of the 2024 Betfred Women’s Super League.
