Everton manager David Moyes said the current goalscoring return of strikers Thierno Barry and Beto “isn’t good enough”.

Everton are in desperate need of three points after only one win – at home to Crystal Palace – in their last eight games.

They welcome Fulham to the Hill Dickinson Stadium tomorrow (November 11th).

Moyes said today: “Maybe we want our centre backs to score more goals or our full-backs to create more goals” as possibility lies “not just with the centre-forwards”.

He noted Beto’s sudden upturn of form in the second half of last season to end on eight Premier League goals as a sign of how quickly fortunes can change.

Moyes also heaped praise on central defender Michael Keane, who will make his 350th Premier League appearance if he starts tomorrow.

Jack Grealish will also make his 200th appearance, who notably was left out of Thomas Tuchel’s England squad again.

Iliman Ndiaye has recovered from a knock against Sunderland and has trained ahead of the weekend.

Moyes said there were no other fresh injury concerns in the squad.

The Toffees will fancy their chances against a Fulham side who have only taken one point on the road this season – a 96th minute equaliser against Brighton on the opening weekend.

And it’s a return for former Everton boss Marco Silva, who has not lost any previous visits to his old club as Fulham manager.

Everton sit six points behind city rivals Liverpool in third, but only five points clear of the relegation zone, so Saturday’s game could be a defining one for the mood going into the international break.
