Tranmere will travel to Coventry on Sunday, live on Sky Sports.

Tranmere boss Micky Mellon is looking for his side to be more consistent after a run of mixed bag results. The whites have performed extremely well away from home, especially against the bigger sides in the league. However the results haven’t been what Mellon would want.

Tranmere sit just one place and 3 points clear of the relegation zone heading into the weekends fixture against a Coventry side that remain unbeaten at home in all competitions. Mellon is confident of his side coming away from the game with something, as he said, “we know that we are capable of causing them problems”

Rovers have taken points off some of the top teams in the division already this season including, Peterborough, Rotherham and Burton showing their ability to compete with the bigger teams. On some occasions however, Mellon’s side have played good football but fell short with the manager stating “there has been good performances, but we want to finish them performances and get some results”

Coventry’s solid home form combined with Tranmere’s impressive away showings should mean fans are in store for a great game on Sunday afternoon.
