The fantastic form of the MerseySportLive tipping machine rolls on as we have tipped winners each of the last seven days and today, we look to extend that to eight-for-eight.

The two pieces of Jumps action today come from Scotland and Wales in Musselburgh and Chepstow. The feature from the Welsh course is a Novices Handicap Chase, which sees in-form Jockey Daryl Jacob’s mount, ‘Simply the betts’ as favourite.

The 13:35 at Chepstow sees Aintree bumper winner McFabulous as an odds-on shot for trainer Paul Nicholls. The horse won two bumpers impressively last season and goes hurdling for the first time today.

Three flat meetings in the UK, Turf in Nottingham and the all-weather tracks of Kempton and Wolverhampton.

In Ireland, an eight-race card from Dundalk lasts all afternoon with plenty of big field handicaps.

My tips for today are –

NAP – Glimpse of Gold – 14:50, Musselburgh

Looks the most superior horse in the race with some useful pieces of form. A healthy mark gives this eight-year-old only 10st 13lbs to carry over the 2mile trip. The Tim Vaughan and Alan Johns combonation is the most experienced and decorated trainer/jockey pairing in the race.

NB – Thunderstruck – 15:35, Chepstow

Made his debut over hurdles three weeks ago and was second behind a Paul Nicholls horse, stayed on well and looks like he could go further. If he jumps at little bit slicker this time have he will have every chance.

Each-way – Sackett – 14:40, Chepstow

This horse has some great pieces of form over further distances so will get the 2mile 7furlong trip. Neil King trained, this boy should stay on and his been a dual threat over hurdles and fences previously. Bryony Frost takes to the saddle for this ride and should give the horse every chance into the home turn.
