Team Kaobon’s Tom Aspinall has teased a return to the UFC’s octagon on his Instagram page.

It is not known when or who the heavyweight will be fighting, with many fans speculating the heavyweight could see a big jump in competition following his early success.

The 27-year-old is coming off the back of two first round knockouts in the octagon with many fans excited to see what the future holds.

Aspinall made his debut in July defeating Jake Collier on the undercard UFC on ESPN 14 Fight Night.

His training partner Darren Till fought in the Main Event that night.

The heavyweight followed that up with a second first round KO of Alan Baudot at Fight Night 179.

Aspinall trains out of Team Kaobon in Liverpool, one of the most prestigious MMA Gyms in the UK, alongside Darren Till and UFC vet Terry Etim.

Speaking recently with TalkSport the Wigan born fighter suggested that outside of Champion Stipe Miocic the UFC’s heavyweight division is unimpressive and expects to see himself climb the rankings and quickly earn a title shot.

Aspinall suggested that Jon Jones, former two time light-heavyweight champion did cause some concern and would automatically become the biggest threat in the division when he moves up.

“To be honest, I’d wouldn’t mind avoiding him anyway because he is one dangerous man!”
