Marine will face National League outfit Halifax Town in the third round of the Buildbase FA Trophy if they beat Bradford Park Avenue on Wednesday.

Neil Young’s side were supposed to make the trip to West Yorkshire on Saturday but the match was postponed because of Storm Arwen.

The Mariners go into the match in fine form, winning each of their last seven games in all competitions and sitting top of the Northern Premier West Division.

Bradford Park Avenue are currently 18th in the National League North, two leagues above Marine.

But the Crosby natives have already defeated higher league opponents five times this season, as well as coming within seconds of knocking Wrexham out of the FA Cup.

They will welcome Halifax to Crosby on December 18 if they overcome Bradford PA.
