FC St Helens are 10 games away from earning promotion into the North West Counties Premier Division in just their second season in semi professional football.
The Stripes are 10 points clear at the top of the table, with 17 wins from their first 24 league games and are currently on a seven-game unbeaten run.
Manager Mike Smith said: “Let’s just keep doing what we’ve done all season to get to this point and see where it takes us.”
The Merseyside outfit will be aiming to go up automatically after they tasted defeat on penalties in last year’s playoff final.
