Real Madrid have had a mirrored start to their season, winning their first six La Liga games.

However after losing to Liverpool in the Champions League at the start of November, the Spaniards have struggled to keep a winning streak up.

The side lost 2-0 to Celta Vigo after recording two consecutive draws to Girona and Elche, with only the one win to Athletic Club in the middle.

Both clubs have suffered from draws and losses of late, although Madrid sit second in the league, they have only won 11 of their 16 games, a percentage of 68.8%.

Liverpool, on the other hand, have played 15 but the side have won just seven games, a winning percentage of just 46.7% putting them 10th in the Premier League.

The Reds have not only struggled to score this season, but they have also found it tricky to keep the ball out of their own net, having 23 goals scored against them, just one less than the amount of goals they have scored.

The leading goal scorer for the Anfield side is new signing Hugo Ekitike, who has scored five of the 23 goals the team has netted in the Premier League.

Their Spanish counterparts, who have scored 34 goals and only conceded 15, have Kylian Mbappé to thank , having scored 16 of the 34, placing him first in the league.
