British Karter Ethan Critchley praised the ‘technical layouts’ of European tracks compared to the British tracks he is used to as he sets his sights on Le Mans.

The 19-year-old Karter from Widnes, is taking a step back from karting in England to race against talented drivers in Europe.

This July, he is taking part in the Le Mans Karting International with Guy Cunnington Racing where he hopes to bring home a trophy.

The Le Mans Karting International takes place at the Le Mans circuit in Northern France.

In the middle of the circuit is a world class karting venue, purpose built to host major karting events.

Critchley has said “Each country has a different style of driving with may surprise people.

“When you get into a race with the different styles its entertaining to watch as well as be apart of.”

Critchley mentioned that most circuits in Europe are about the ability of the driver not the performance of the engine.
