Tranmere Rovers finalised four deadline day deals as Liverpool and Everton both secured deadline day deals as the Winter Transfer window came to its conclusion on Monday (2nd).
Rovers had a busy January transfer window with seven players arriving at the club whilst Liverpool and Everton secured late deals for Jeremy Jacquet and Tyrique George.
Liverpool
The Reds saw no incomings this transfer window despite their busy summer.
A £55 million (with £5 million potentially in add-ons) with Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais for 20-year-old central defender Jeremy Jacquet was secured, but the French youngster won’t make the move to Anfield until the summer.

There was a late move for Sunderland’s Lutsharel Geertruida late on, with the reds seeking defensive reinforcements in light of their growing injury list.
But the move for the Dutch international, who was Arne Slot’s Captain at Feyenoord, was too complicated due to being on loan from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.

No other moves were made by the Reds.
They decided against revisiting their interest in Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi, with whom Liverpool had agreed a deal for on the summer deadline day.
Guehi instead signed for league rivals Manchester City.
The champions also decided against proceeding with a deal to sell vice-captain Andrew Robertson to Tottenham.

Everton
The Blues also had a quiet January window, with no permanent incomings.
A deadline day move for Chelsea winger, Tyrique George, proved successful.
The 19-year-old will join the Toffees on loan until the end of the season, providing cover for Jack Grealish, who is set to miss the rest of the season due to injury.

There was a strong interest in defender Nathan Patterson by Serie A side Genoa but approaches were rejected for the Scotsman.
Local boy Harrison Armstrong, whose loan to Preston North End was recalled at the beginning of the window, will also stay put after impressing in his appearances.
However, there was late drama for winger Dwight McNeil.
A £20 million bid from Crystal Palace had been accepted by Everton for the player.
A deal sheet has been submitted to complete the deal past the approaching deadline, but the move collapsed due to paperwork issues.
McNeil and his partner then posted to their Instagram accounts, complaining about Crystal Palace and their behaviour following the collapse.

Tranmere Rovers
It was a very busy January on the Wirral, however, with six players joining the Super White Army.
Local boy Lewis Warrington returned to the club, penning a two-and-a-half-year deal at Prenton Park.
Warrington, who was born in Birkenhead, played for Tranmere on loan from Everton in the 21/22 season.
The defensive midfielder has played for a number of clubs since, and now has secured his future at the club after leaving Walsall.
The club also signed a number of loan deals with Stephan Negru, Max Dickov, Zech Obiero, James Plant, Will Tamen and Dylan Jones, all joining in January.
Jack Barrett and Jayden Joseph both extended their loans to the club.
Aaron McGowan extended his short-term contract to the end of the season.
Tranmere also announced that Connor Jennings signed a one-year contract extension after suffering an ACL injury, which will keep the forward out for a long time.
There were some outgoings. Richie Smallwood has joined Bristol Rovers on loan until the end of the season.
Taylan Harris will also return to his parent club, Luton Town, after completing his loan.
