John Heitinga is the current favourite to replace Thomas Frank as Tottenham Hotspur manager, according to Paddy Power.

The former Everton defender served as Liverpool assistant to Arne Slot from July 2024 to May 2025, before joining Frank at Spurs as assistant coach in 2026.

Paddy Power currently have the Dutchman as favourite to be Spurs’ next permanent manager at 8/11.

He is currently ahead of well-renowned managers Roberto De Zerbi, former Everton manager Marco Silva and Mauricio Pochettino.

Former Liverpool striker Robbie Keane is also in the running for the job and is currently sat at 10/1 to be the next man in the Spurs dugout.

The Irishman is the current manager of Hungarian side Ferencvaros and managed a 12th place finish in this season’s UEFA Europa League league phase, defeating sides like RB Salzburg and Rangers along the way.

Frank was sacked as Tottenham boss after eight months in charge, after last night’s 2-1 defeat at home to Newcastle United.

Spurs currently sit 16th in the Premier League on 29 points after 26 games, just five points ahead of the drop zone.

Spurs’ last win in the league came on the 28th December in a 1-0 away win at Crystal Palace.
