Liverpool fighter “Meatball” Molly McCann is aiming to continue her smooth transition into boxing and go 3-0 in a packed Matchroom card.

The card consists of eight fights, with Leigh Wood vs Josh Warrington II headlining the event hosted in Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena and broadcast live on DAZN this Saturday.

The former UFC star will be facing Hungarian fighter Beata Dudek who holds a professional record of seven victories and eight defeats.

McCann made her professional boxing debut in September where she beat Kate Radomska after a fifth round knock down forced her corner to throw the towel in.

“Meatball” Molly continued that momentum in her second bout after a 58-56 points victory against Ebonie Cotton.

McCann controlled large portions of the fight, and after Cotton suffered a severe cut in round four, she piled on the pressure to put the result beyond doubt.

After a successful MMA career, McCann held a record of 14 wins and eight defeats and will hope to use that experience to become a big name in Women’s boxing over the next few years.

Nottingham local Leigh Wood faces Josh Warrington in the main event in a highly anticipated rematch.

Wood came out victorious in the previous fight after a seventh round knockout.

Fan favourite Dave Allen is also on the card in his first fight since defeat to Arslanbek Makhmudov in October 2025.
