St. Helens will face Toulouse Olympique for the first time since 2022 on Friday, 20th March at the Stade Ernest-Wallon, in the fifth round of the Betfred Super League.
The Saints are riding a four-match winning streak, most recently defeating Castleford Tigers 32–8 in the Challenge Cup last Saturday.
Paul Rowley’s side haven’t lost a Super League match since the opening round against Warrington Wolves.
Team News
St. Helens will be without winger Kyle Feldt after disciplinary officials handed him a three-game ban for a Grade E charge following head contact during Saints’ Challenge Cup victory over Castleford. Referees showed Feldt a yellow card for making contact with Krystian Mapapalangi’s head in a tackle.
After the incident, Mapapalangi failed a head injury assessment, which led to Feldt’s suspension.
Curtis Sironen picked up a calf injury during the game and will miss Friday’s clash, with Rowley estimating a recovery period of four to eight weeks.
Hookers Daryl Clark and Jake Burns both suffered failed head injury assessments in the game against Castleford, and the pair are stood down for this fixture and are currently following return-to-play protocols.
Sylvain Houles’ side has made an impressive start to the 2026 campaign, opening their season with an away victory over Wakefield Trinity.
Toulouse will look to capitalise on home advantage and deliver a strong performance in front of their fans, creating what promises to be a hostile atmosphere for the Saints in France.
