Lancashire Powerboat Racing Club (LPRC) is set to host a thrilling Big Race Weekend at Carr Mill Dam in St Helens this weekend (May 2nd-3rd).
The club has created the spectacle for competitors in place of the National British Championship series, which is not taking place.
Commodore of LPRC Bill Owen said: “It’s shaping up to be a celebration of everything powerboating.
“We understand we’ll have representatives from every national class.
“All competitors are eager to enjoy the excellent facilities we have Carr Mill Dam and gain valuable water time.”
The weekend kicks off on Saturday morning with testing and timed practice sessions followed by more testing Saturday afternoon as well as Mixed Class Club Racing.
Teams will be showcasing a variety of boats as they all compete to be first to cross the finish line.

Sunday will have more testing with the spotlight turned to National Classes in a series of high-speed competitive races with thrilling action expected.
