Liverpool are in talks with Feyenoord to hire Arne Slot as their new manager, it has emerged today.
Reports say Liverpool have offered 9 million Euros compensation to Feyenoord.
But it’s believed the Dutch club are seeking a sum in the range of 15 million Euros.
Feyenoord are currently second in the Eredivisie and secured the KNVB cup last weekend.
Slot was approached by Tottenham, Chelsea and Leeds in the past, after taking Feyenoord to their first title in six years last season.
Known for his aggressive style of play, Feyenoord have the best defence in the league and are second for best attacking metrics.
He has frequently operated on a smaller budget and plays a formation of 4-3-3, which suits the Liverpool formula.
His odds have been slashed by many bookmakers to take over from Jurgen Klopp.
