Paul Butler’s chances of restoring his world title status have soared with news WBO Bantamweight Champion John Riel Casimero has been withdrawn from Friday’s title fight at the M&S Arena.

Liverpool’s own Ryan Dickens is looking to overcome challenging opponent Jack Cook at the Olympia this weekend (April 23) The 20-year-old from Kensington is a three-time National Champion, a European Bronze Medallist and has won gold at the Tri-National Competition in the light middleweight division.

Following victory in 2019 and 2020, Liverpool amateur boxer Lucas Dube is now hungry for further success post the Coronavirus pandemic. Born in Zimbabwe, Dube moved to Liverpool as a child where he would begin boxing.

The Inclusive Hub, situated in Kirkdale, was opened in 2016 by Liam Starkey and his father. The Hub focuses on helping people of all abilities and ages through boxing and other sports.

Paul Butler is uncertain whether his opponent WBO Bantamweight Champion John Riel Casimero will attend their bout at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena next month. In December 2021, the two were scheduled to fight in Dubai, but Casimero failed to take to the scales, citing viral gastritis for his absence.
