A Skelmersdale United academy player has allegedly been racially abused during a youth team fixture. The incident comes two weeks after Skelmersdale’s Head of Academy Darren Wildman was charged by Liverpool County FA for removing players from the pitch after claiming one was allegedly subjected to homophobic abuse.
