No winners for Owen yesterday, which means it is my turn to try get us back into the winners circle with today’s tips.

In England, there are three meetings today. Two flat meetings at Doncaster and Newbury, and a jumps meeting at Cheltenham.

Across the water in Ireland, there is just the one meeting today, which takes place at Dundalk on the polytrack.

I will be focusing on Cheltenham today, with jumps season very much on the horizon. The race card starts at 14.00, with seven races in total. The last race being 17.30.

Big name jockeys are racing at Cheltenham today, including Robbie Power, Richard Johnson, Davy Russell, Sam Twiston-Davies and Harry Cobden.

Well renowned trainers such as Gordon Elliott, Dan Skelton, Colin Tizzard, Nigel Twiston-Davies and Paul Nicholls all have horses racing at Cheltenham today.

Onto the tips…

NAP – Master Debonair 16.20 Cheltenham – With Robbie Power on the saddle, this Colin Tizzard trained horse is in with a real shout today. The good to soft ground should suit this horse, who has won two flat races at 2m and 2m 1f. It looks like a competitive race with several different horses in with a shout of winning, but hopefully Master Debonair will come through and get us back to winning ways.

NB – Braid Blue 14.00 Cheltenham – Has won four hurdle races from 2m to 3m on good ground. Was a winner last time out when racing at Perth over 3m in July. Was a 5/4 favourite and ended up winning by 11l. Today, this Gordon Elliott trained horse has Richard Johnson on board, and will surely be in with a shout in the opening race of the day.

Each-way – Present Ranger 15.45 Cheltenham – On his last outing just over two months ago, he won a hurdle race when favourite at 5/4 at Market Rasen. Beat Finalshot by 1 3/4l over the 2m 5f circuit on good ground. Today, with Harry Skelton on board, and at a massive price, I think and each-way bet could be well worth it.

Good luck!
