Max Verstappen has been handed a 3 place grid penalty for tomorrow’s Mexican Grand Prix Race.

The stewards have awarded the Red Bull pilot the penalty for failing to slow down under yellow flag conditions. The yellow flags were brought out due to Valtteri Bottas’ crash in the dying minutes of Q3.

This now means that Charles Leclerc will start the race in first position alongside Ferrari team mate Sebastian Vettel. Lewis Hamilton moves up to 3rd and Max Verstappen slotting in at 4th alongside the Mercedes driver.
