Neal Skupski and Jamie Murray lost again in three sets, this time in Marseille.

The all-British pair lost 6-3, 3-6, 8-10 against Frederik Nielsen and Tim Putz.

The 30-year-old Merseyside player and Murray began their partnership last summer, before Wimbledon. While they are still looking for their first title together, the pair have suffered some tough three-set losses thus far this season.

The pair were the third seeds going into this tournament, an ATP 250, and were looking to have another good run, like in Montpellier or Rotterdam, the previous two weeks.

After this, the British pair will continue their preparation and gaining competition rhythm, in order to be in top form come the first Masters 1000 of the season in the second week of March.
