Everton have not only moved stadiums this season but also moved up the table with an impressive first six home games.

The move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium has provided the Toffees with their home start to a season for five years.

This season The Blues boast three home wins so far after six games, whereas they had only won one of the first six at the same stage last term.

This season’s start has kept Evertonian hopes high, with the club winning three of the six home games and drawing two, to Aston Villa and West Ham.

The first six home games this season have shown fans the possibility of a mid table finish – something the side has struggled to reach in the last two seasons as they have endured a relegation fight in both.

Having beaten Brighton, Crystal Palace and Fulham at the Docks,  and only losing once at home to Tottenham in October, the Merseyside outfit may take their new stadium as a good omen.

The Toffees may be leaving their rocky home form at Goodison, but they brought their voice with them to Bramley Moore Docks being crowned the fifth loudest stadium in the world, behind some European giants.

When West Ham relocated back in 2016, their home record was not as impressive as the Blues.

They left Upton Park for the London Stadium – its purpose before then was to host the 2012 London Olympics.

Moving to the 62,000-seater was not a fan choice, with many worried about transport links, added to the fact that The Hammers failed to deliver to fans at home in the first six home games of their first season, only winning one home game against Bournemouth.

Although the London side lost three of their first six home games, in the 2016/17 season, they finished 11th in the table and just five years later they were crowned Europa League Champions.

This season sees the two sides separated by five points and just as many places as West Ham battle to stay out of the relegation zone whilst Everton remain 13th above Newcastle.
