Stephen Bunting is set to go head-to-head with Luke Littler in the Quarter Finals of Night seven of the Premier League in Dublin tomorrow night.

After a difficult start to the season, the Merseyside darts ace has collected vital points following his triumph in Night four against Gian Van Veen in the final.

Last week, during Night six in Nottingham, both Bunting and Littler fell short in the semi-finals which saw neither advance to the final.

Bunting will have to forget about the weekend’s antics which left him “really hurt” following booing and whistling from some fans during his game at the European Championship in Germany.

The bullet” told Sky Sports: “I never moan about defeats or cry about them but feel really hurt tonight even though it was a small minority of people.

“To boo and whistle at important times through any match isn’t acceptable and if you want to do that then go to a football match.

“Nothing at all against Springer, he played a great match, but the whistling spoilt the game.”

Littler did not partake in the tournament, having previously voiced concerns on the crowds in Germany.

The World number one is also in need of points in the Premier League table where he sits second, eight points behind leader Jonny Clayton.

Bunting currently sits 7th with seven points and will aim to bounce back positively, albeit against an opponent he’s only beaten once in their last five head-to-heads.
