Today, there are just the three meetings across the UK, all being jumps meetings. Bangor-on-Dee, Exeter and Ayr is where the action will take place. The racing at Bangor-on-Dee commences at 12.45, Exeter begins at 12.55 and finally the Ayr races get underway at 13.05.

Today’s picks:

NAP – Esprit Du Large – 15.05 Exeter

A winner of two Class 4 hurdle races. Finished second last time out in his chase debut when half a length behind The King of May at Carlisle. Runs well of good/soft ground, which should suit him today. An in form Adam Wedge on board today, he should be in with every chance in this chase over 2m3f48y.

NB – Off the Hook – 14.15 Ayr

Running off top weight in this race, a well-respected hurdler. Hasn’t ran since her fourth place finish in a Grade 2 at Newbury in March when fourth. Last time she ran at Ayr she won as a 2/1 favourite. A C&D maiden winner. She is running at 17lbs heavier today, but should go well nevertheless.

Each-Way – Miss Gemstone – 16.10 Exeter

A massive price at 33/1 (correct as of 10.15am) today. David Bass on board this Kim Bailey trained horse for this meeting. Second of eight on her hurdling debut at Ludlow in May and should have gained experience from this. The 2m2f race today should suit her better, as she weakened at the end of her last race over 2m5f. A big price but could be in with an each-way shout.

Good luck!
