Merseyside Cruiserweight Jay Farrell returns at the Liverpool Olympia on Saturday, facing Damian Roberts for the vacant BBBofC Central Area Cruiserweight title.

Farrell is fighting for the title that has only been fought for 10 times since its creation, hoping to join the likes of Johnny Nelson.

Stepping back into the ring for the third time in six months, Farrell is keeping active in his quest to make a name for himself.

Farrell heads into the fight with a 9-1 record in the pro ranks, boasting a similar knockout ratio to his opponent Roberts. Farrell has a 50% knockout ratio compared to Robert’s 54.4%, so fans will be hoping the fight ends early.

Up and coming Liverpool heavyweight Sean Turner finally returns to the ring after issues with injuries in camp and struggling to find opponents. The heavyweight fighting out of Derry Matthew’s gym will be looking for his first stoppage victory.
