WBA featherweight champion Nick Ball has promised fans that his fourth title defence against Brandon Figueroa will be ‘all action’ from the first bell.

Ball faces Figueroa in front of a home crowd at the M&S Bank Arena tomorrow (February 7th).

At today’s weigh-in, both fighters made weight With Ball weighing in at 125.11lbs and Figueroa at 125.14lbs.

The defending champion said: “One more sleep and it’s go time.”

Figueroa is confident of taking another fighters undefeated record after defeating Luis Nery in 2021.

When the American was asked his prediction he boldly responded: “And the new.”

Other Merseyside fighters Jack Turner and Andrew Cain will be fighting on the undercard.

Turner faces Juan Carlos Martinez Urbina to defend his unbeaten record.

He said: “When I get in there i just don’t look to win, I look to knock you out

“So don’t blink.”

Turner weighed in at 114.1lbs and Martinez Urbina weighed in at 114.12lbs.

Cain faces Mexican Alejandro Gonzalez in another highly anticipated bout.

Cain praised his opponents demeanour and compared him to other English fighters.

He said: “Sometimes I fight English fighters and they look scared.

”He looks keen and ready to fight.”

Cain has promised fans a good fight as he weighed in at 117.15lbs.

Gonzalez weighed in at 117.7lbs.
