Tranmere host Wycombe live on Sky Sports tomorrow in their second of three meetings this month.

18th placed Rovers earnt a replay against promotion hopefuls Wanderers in the FA Cup last week, thanks to a Kieron Morris brace. That game will be played at Adams Park on Wednesday (19:45 kick-off).

Micky Mellon’s men have not tasted league action since their 3-1 away victory against MK Dons on November 2nd.

Their most recent game, against League Two side Salford City in the group stages of the Leasing.com Trophy, ended in a 2-0 defeat. However, they still progressed to the next round of the competition and their opponents will be announced later today.

Wycombe, meanwhile, came back from a goal down to beat MK Dons in the same competition on Tuesday but were knocked out after finishing bottom of Group O.

Despite failing to score more than one goal in any of their last four league games, the Chairboys’ have taken ten points from a possible 12, including a 1-0 home win against Shrewsbury Town last time out.

Before their FA Cup stalemate, the last time these two sides met was in the 2014/15 League Two season. Tranmere claimed a 2-0 away victory but were beaten 2-1 at Prenton Park and ultimately relegated to the National League.

Depending on results elsewhere, a win for Tranmere could push them up to 15th in the table and six points clear of relegation.

Whereas, if Ipswich lose at home to Blackpool, a draw would see Wycombe finish the weekend top of League One.

The game kicks-off at noon on Sunday.

Tickets are available via the club’s official website.
